This lathe is only slightly less portable than the MICRO CUE SMITH II and weighs in at just over 40 pounds and is only 48 inches long. There are no Bed Extensions to hassle with even when doing house cues. It does Tips, Ferrules, Shaft Reconditioning, Joint Work, House Cues, Wraps and could build a cue with the right options added. Great for working tournaments.
      The SLIDING HEADSTOCK has a powerful variable speed motor attached to it and can be locked down anywhere on the bed depending on what type of work you are doing. It comes with Full Length Carriage Travel. It DOES NOT come with the Oak Cabinet or Taper Bars. The cabinet and taper bars would be in the way of the motor. This is the most portable lathe on the market that can do all it will do. With the "full length carriage travel" it will do everything the Full Size Cue Smith will do (like tapering butts) and is alot more portable being almost two feet shorter.
