This lathe is specifically
designed to build walking canes.
However it could be
used for turning other wood projects also.
It comes with the larger
1.4" spindle bore headstock with
3/4HP variable speed
motor and a steady rest with 1.4"
chuck mounted on it
just like the headstock has.
It has a router, power
feed and easy off-setting tailstock
for cutting tapers
on the cane.
It comes with two
cutting bits, drill chuck on tailstock,
spur driver, router
bit and a live center. Canes are easy to
build up to 36"
long with this lathe. Longer canes are possible.
