#1 grade Ivory Inlay Slabs are $30 per ounce.
Slabs are approximately 3/16" thick or .140" your choice.
Widths and lengths vary. Average 5 to 7 square inches per ounce. $35 per ounce for point length slabs. "SPECIAL" smaller slabs average thickness .125" $18 per ounce. These slabs average 2 to 4" in length. Great for smaller inlay work.
Ivory Joints, Butt Plates, and Ferrules
Joints are 1 inch long and turned round. $35
Butt Plates are 1 inch long and turned round. $85
Longer pieces are $85 per inch.
Ferrules are 1 inch long and turned round.

We pay from $40 up to $125 per pound for Ivory tusks and tusk sections. They must have been in the USA before the 1989 import ban. Smaller tusks bring the least amount. To get $125 per pound for your ivory it must have clean surface with no cracks and litte or no inside hollow. We will buy tusks with cracks or without, any size, but the larger and whiter, the more desirable. Get an accurate weight without any bases or mounts and take some pictures of all sides and ends of the tusks. Show all defects clearly. We do not buy walrus or Asian elephant tusks. Camel Bone Ivory

This is the best natural substitute for Elephant Ivory that I have seen. It machines just like Elephant Ivory and has a off white cast to it like Elephant ivory. Unlike the Elephant the Camel is not endangered so this Bone Ivory is legal to import and export. The slabs are approximately 8" long by 7/8" wide and 3/16" thick. Great for points and inlays.
