Cross Slide – For Tailstock

Description

A cross-slide for mounting in your tailstock chuck. It turns your tailstock into a tip and ferrule cutting cross-slide.
Great for Sanding lathes or wood lathes. Comes with Cross-slide and a tool post with one right hand tool bit plus tip shaping blade rest.
Your tailstock provides you with your left right cutter travel and the cross slide gives you your cross travel.
You can face joints and ferrules as well as trim tips, cut tenons and trim ferrules to match shaft.
With regular tool post you have a little over 1.25″ cutter left right travel.
With optional Tall Toolpost you have 2.25″ Left right cutter travel.
