This is the modern version of the original in highly portable cue lathes. It uses the same high quality parts as the Mid-Size Cue Smith, yet it is only 36″ long and the main lathe weighs less than 40 pounds. It comes with a bed extension, wrap foot control, and joint work steady rest. You can use the bed extension out front for cleaning shafts, wraps, or use it out back with the steady rest for house cues and joint work. This is all the lathe you need for tips, ferrules, wraps, retapering shafts, cleaning, joint repair, and butt plates. It is NOT for building cues!
